Artist-led, interdisciplinary studio LabCulture (aka PVA MediaLab 1996-2012) was founded by Julie Penfold and Simon Poulter to enable Artists to research, develop and present new work. Through its residency and bursary programme, 300+ Artists undertook concentrated periods of research receiving expert support from fellow practitioners. The studio was a key delivery partner for the Cultural Olympiad (London 2012).
